The Mark Of Wisdom

"OBEDIENCE IS THE MARK OF THE WISDOM OF GOD"

This past Sunday I was in Sunday school and learned that obedience is a key factor to your walk with Christ... NO DUH RIGHT!!! Well, it was really cool to look at some lives of some people in the Bible and see how really important obedience is. See King David who was a Godly man was at his end of being a king and had to find a new king to take his place. King David had many sons, but only one had a heart that was after God. Both King David and God chose Solomon to be the next king.... God came to Solomon in a dream and said "Ask. What should I give you." Solomon acting in obedience to God's word asked for a discerning heart and for wisdom as he knew he had to lead a nation. God not only granted him that, but also blessed him with even more. See, that's what God does... If we follow, obey, love, and trust in Him he will bless us abundantly. How cool is that, that the God of the universe wants to help us and bless us! God is really showing me how much He loves me and wants me to obey Him so He can bless me.
