I wonder what could happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone? What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets? What if we flipped through it several times a day? What if we turned back to get it if we forgot it? What if we used it to receive messages from the text? What if we gave it to kids as gifts? What if we used it when we traveled? What if we used it in case of emergency?
This is something to make you go hmmmm, where is my Bible? Where are my priorities?
Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill.
I came across this in a newspaper and thought it was good! Thanks Pam for all your help with this! You know what I'm talking about!!! LOL

My thoughts for tonight...

A lot has been on my mind these past couple of weeks, and tonight God has opened my eyes! I have come to see that God has something bigger for me and I am now ready to accept it! I have for so long believed I was never good enough or that I could never amount to anything.... Well, my friends, I'm done! Its going to be a daily struggle, but I'm done believing the lies I was fed my whole life. I am who God says I am... I'm a unique creation, a daughter of a King, and He has mighty plans for me! I can and will be strong and courageous in the Lord! As I was driving to my Aunts tonight I called one of my very dear friends Pam and she knocked some sense into me! I have for so long let people (my family especially) walk all over me. I have a hard time doing things for myself... I feel I have to please others around me to be accepted... Well, I'm DONE! I want to live my life pleasing the Lord. I want to serve Him and be happy. I really feel God wants me to go to College and gain a deeper understanding of who He is and what He wants me to do in this life time. I'm SO excited about the next step I'm about to take! I know God has something BIG planed for me and I'm ready for the ride! Please though, if you are reading this keep me in your prayers. I have realized a lot, but its going to be hard to put it into action. This is something I have struggled with my entire life.... I get knocked down easy and I see my self in a bad light.... I know God is working on that and my heart. Its been amazing to see what God has been doing in my life, and I can't wait to see more!
Father, thank You for all You have done and will do and are doing! You are an AMAZING God and I am so thankful to be able to serve You. Thank You for the people You have blessed me with. I love how You use the people in my life to speak to me and show me things. You are a Mighty, Loving, Gracious, and AMAZING Savior! I'm so happy I have You in my life! Thank You for taking me as I am and helping me change to be a better person in You. Daddy, I'm looking up to You now. Take my hand and lead me... Amen

Sisters!!!

As most of you know I have been talking a lot about leaving for college! Well, my sister is supper excited, but she will miss me very much! We have had our moments, but we still have the deep connection and friendship that God first gave us! I love my sister VERY much even though we may not always agree! We have gotten closer and closer through the years, and I see us only getting closer. She wants to get pictures together before I leave, which I think is a great idea! I actually think I want to get pictures with "my girls!" AKA, my support system that I will be leaving!! That would be my sister, Pam, Magy, Kim, Cathy, and maybe Sherry. My sister wants Molly to do them, so my next step is to e-mail her! Anyways, I thought I would just write a little about my sister! I love her and always will!!

Ready to apply!
So I got the text last night that one of my dear friends down loaded the Montana Bible College application!!! I am SO excited you don't even know! I told my sister about it, and we both got teary eyed! I can't believe I'm going to do this! There's still a lot I have to do to get it all together, but I'm getting ready! I have to take my SAT, so please pray for me! I'm a nervous test taker!!! I probably wont go (if I get accepted that is) until spring, but until then I will be saving money, and getting my stuff together! Thank you all for your prayers this far, please continue to join my in prayer! I will keep you all updated!
YAY!!!! Thanks Magy for the extra push, Pam for helping me see the bigger picture, and Kim for even telling me about this College!

If its God's will... It will fall into place...
Hey guys....! Coming to you with a heavy heart and very tired eyes...! As you know I have been looking at Montana Bible College as a place to start my next step in life... I also have been looking at other ones online, but my heart is still set on MBC! My only BIG thing right now is the money issue. I'm still paying off some things and it seems as though I can't ever really SAVE money... It will cost "around" $4,200.00 per semester... Which from what I have seen from other college's isn't as bad as it can be, but still....! I know I don't have that kind of money, and don't know if I ever will! I'm just praying that I can get scholarships and some how pay for it.... I know that if it is God's will for me, He will open doors and make it possible. This was on my mind, so I wrote it! please continue to pray! Thanks!
Please Father, help me turn this over to you... I know I can't do it on my own, but its SO scary... I don't think I have anymore tears left to cry, so please help me on a daily basis to trust that You will take this... I love you with all my heart and only want to glorify you. Thank you for all the wonderful blessings in my life. You are an AMAZING God and I am so glad I can call You Friend, Savior, and Daddy! Again Father, just help me give this to you and not worry! Thank you be for hand for what you are going to do! Amen

My thoughts for today....
A lot has been on my mind the last couple of months, but a big one is "where does God want me?" I'm unhappy about where I am in life today... I want to do more, be more, know more, understand more, and I want it all to be for the glory of God.... My friend Kim has been talking to me about Montana Bible College... Not gunna lie, at fist I was not so sure... I'm really bad at doing things for other people and not myself. BUT, this is a big step in my life, it needs to be for ME and GOD. I've wanted for SO long to get into biblical counseling and that desire has not gone away, if anything I think its getting stronger. I went on the Montana Bible College site and I LOVE it! They have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies with one of five concentrations, and the one I would LOVE to do is biblical counseling concentration. I just have this feeling that I can not explain about this College... Money has always been a big issue in my life, but if I let that lead me I will go no where. If I let money issues stop me I'm afraid I'll never become what God wants me to become. I also feel I will stay in the hole I'm in.. I will always be the daycare provider who has no self confidence and always dreaming of something more... I can't do that to myself or to God. I'm done being stuck and am ready to do something about it. I'm going to be praying for God's direction this next week. Please if you are reading this feel free to join me in prayer! Please ask God to help me know where He wants me and what He wants me to do with my life. I'm supper excited about the next step in my life! Thank you all for your support!

A blast from the past!
Saturday I had the opportunity to go with a dear friend to Willow. You may not know this, but its my home town!!! Born and raised baby!! LOL Anyways, it was a nice adventure. I showed her my families homestead that I grew up on and even the house where I lived! We went and saw the creek I lived in, I mean on!! I got to tell stories of floating down the creek, swimming in it all the time, and even my fishing experiences! It was nice to take the time and think of all the wonderful things I got to do as a child. Growing up in a small town I got to do a lot of things that most people don't get to do. I'm not going to lie though, some of it was hard. It brought up some painful memories, but I'm thankful that I had Kim with me! It was nice to not only talk about my childhood with Kim, but also showing her where it happened! We even got to take the girls to my elementary school to play in the playground! I had a lot of fun and even learned some things! I always love spending time with Kim and her family, and this just made it a little more special! The ride up there, the random places we went, lunch, and the ride back was all wonderful! Kim and I had some nice deep talks and got to know each other even more. Once we got home though we were all tired! I think we all layed down! It made for another amazing day in Christ! It was a little bit of an emotional up and down day, but I got threw it and learned some things! I love how God uses people and events to show us something about Him! I'm learning everyday who God is and wants me to be in Him. Life is a journey I am beginning to enJOY!!
